love is a battlefield
due to rain there hasnt been any frisbee or cricket this week. yawn. im feeling really blaise and lazy.. but im also suffering from some bad insomnia. im sleeping for like an hour.. then waking up and i cant back to sleep till about an hour before im meant to wake up. *sigh* im not sleepy in the day.. im just lethargic, so ive decided to drop coffee from my breakfast menu. i dont think i need any more stimulation..
in othe news.. there is a photo of me on facebok which has stirred up some controversy this week. i wont propogate the hearsay by posting it here.. but no less than 4 unassociated individuals have commented to me about what the deal is. kinda funny how a random photo posted on facebook can cause ppl to make such assumptions. i mean ppl psot all kinds of crap up there. i think its partially amplified by the fact that im not drunk in the photo =p

Lost and Running
so after a long hiatus, the blog is back. this guy at work spends most of his day writing a diary in MS Word, which is so 1989.. so ive ressureccted my blog to show him how modern i am... that being said, blogs are so 2003 =p
ive also decided to sever the link between facebook and this blog cos theres just too many people on facebook.. not all of whom id like to read my blog. especially the ones which i oft bitch about or whatever =p
on a side note, i wrote my first facebook app! if you have nothing better to do, check out the pre-alpha alpha here.
quite a lot of a things have happened since my last post. probably the biggest thing is that ive been "promoted" to our disaster recovery site, which is in an undisclosed location in the middle of the Australian desert. Which of course makes it closer to my house than head office. the pay is heaps more.. but other than that the job is pretty much the same. i might have a chance to get back to HO in a couple of weeks, but im starting to like it out here...
around this time of year i like to write a wrap up post of the previous year.. but im totally just too lazy for that. instead ill write a few small tasks id like to achieve this new year (in order of probability of success).
also i need to get into shape... im so unfit i can barely move anymore. also i feel bloated most of the time. i need to stop eatign carbs after lunch. this year im planning to devise some sort of ridiculous workout regime to get myself into some state of fitness. Im not sure how it will work yet, since both my knees are fskd, and therefore i cant do any running or jumping.
this just in.. the free gym at work opens on Thursday.. so maybe i can do something fitness related with doesnt involve knees..

its all coming back to me now
since my last post ive done little but sit around eating food that is not good for me. for 4 days in a row i veged out in front off a tv screen of some kind eating junk food of some other kind.
it was for the most part with different people on each day too. i dun think u really need to hear the details of "eat, watch, eat more junk". but it was all good fun, although i really will need to runs some laps to get rid of the Snickers Pods. Wii tennis just doesnt cut it. ppl involved included kt, ag, cy, mc, hoy, jmo, a4. and watchables involved were AFL, the chaser, the breakfast club, (some german kebab movie), the rock, and wii tennis =p
whilst procrastinating on facebook the other day i noticed that i had 31 mutual frens with Hoa (good for first place) which equates to about half of all my frens. and i was sorta wondering about who (of all people who i dont know) out there has the most mutual frens with me. its probably one of those ppl who everyone thinks that i know but who i dont know at all. like joel or tim or sharon or joseph.
in other news: someone discovered an exploit for PSP in the game Lumines (which is pretty old) and on Amazon.com the sales of that game went up 14,000% =p

Underwear Goes Inside the Pants
so i totally havent posted in ages.. fear not though.. nothing has happened in that time.. except for a ridiculous amount of frisbee and a very very badly corked thigh.
the most exciting thing to happen in that past week and a bit was episode 20 of heroes which rocked my world. but its incredibly depressing to think a tv show was the best part of any week in my life.
with this CRM contact, lately ive been coding java web apps pretty much round the clock. im starting to think id much rather do java part time.. and do something else for my real job. i think i enjoy it more when im not doing it 9-5. i jsut dont know what other job id want to do.. the only other thing i find remoting interesting is construction.. but theres no way in hell im going back to uni to study 4 years of engineering! not to mention a thesis! gah!
in other news.. when did everyone get into Facebook? it seems to have appeared from no where. if u havent seen it, its like myspace but without the ugly, and without everyone listing their favourite bands as their "friends". i find it mildly entertaining for now.. its at least as interesting as any other web community which i temporarily joined =p
